Oshi no Ko, Love Agency Manga Announce Hiatus

Aka Akasaka has paused both Oshi no Ko manga and Love Agency manga due to health concerns.

Oshi No Ko, and Love Agency fans will need to prepare themselves for the upcoming release of a new chapter. Creator Aka Akasaka announced just recently that both manga series are on break.

The manga writer has now confirmed the rumors. Recently, a fan posted a letter of the manga writer on X. Akasaka acknowledging that he had fallen ill and would take some time off in order to focus on his health. He assured his audience that his condition was improving. "I fell ill a long time ago and, after talking to the people concerned, I took a one-month break. Sorry for the month-long break. "As of the time I wrote this message, my health is back to normal and I'm ready to do the best job possible," said Oshi No Ko creator.

Akasaka announced that Oshi No Ko would take a break, as would Love Agency. thanked collaborators for allowing him to rest and expressed his hope that the fans would look forward to the new chapters of the series after the break. "I'll continue to do my very best moving forward. I hope that you will look forward to seeing the series return after the break." The writer continued, "I'll continue to try to be the best in the future, and I'm hoping that you will look forward to its return." Thank you to Mengo-sensei (Mengo Yokoyari) and 5mm-sensei (Nishizawa 5-mm) for agreeing to take a break from our work.

When will Oshi no Ko & Love Agency return?

Oshi No Ko,, which follows a gynecologist, his terminally-ill patient, and their twins who are reborn to be pop idol Ai Hoshino has become more popular than ever since the manga was adapted into an anime with the same title just this year. A leak claims that Oshi no Ko chapter 126, which is part of Weekly Young Jump #42 will be released on September 14. Mengo Yokoyari, Akasaka’s manga artist colleague, is set to release some of the much-anticipated Hoshino material before then. A short manga series that will serve as an interlude to main story will consist of four chapters and will be released by her in August.
